Help with WBTB question

Say your really tired and take a nap for only three hours during the day time and wake up by alarm clock?Would that put you in the right rem cycle?

it should, waking up after 3 hour isn't enough sleep for anyone so you will wake still tired and in the right state, the only problem is staying aware enough to pull off a projection, but if you doing lucid dream just fall asleep with a little awareness.
