I'm a huge fan of anime. Never heard of this one until now, Thanks :D

i have watched the first episode of this (since i watch anime for my Japanese). it seemed quite calm and slow paced :) didn't get into it much cause i was busy afterwards though.

it is slow paced, its about daily life living with robots etc, inspired by Isaac Asimov, your an EE you should like it... in theory :D

Ive been looking for a replacement for death note, but so far all my attempts have failed. :)

i don't particularly like EE xD but i do like slow paced anime :) hehe.

replacing Death Note.. i'm not sure i have anything for that xD you can't replace something like that, lol. but the anime i enjoy the most is about Japanese folklore, ghosts and stuff. if you like mystical stuff (which i assume you do cause we're talking in AstralVoid :D) you should definitely watch Mushishi!! it's a brilliant thing, it's also slow paced, and it's about these creatures that are in the core of life itself, but cause many sicknesses in humans. every episode deals with a new, interesting story about how the Mushishi (like a doctor, kinda) deals with these supernatural entities. they even have one episode with prophetic dreams :) although i hate that one, it's really sad. other than that, that anime is rather meditative, very creative and it'll get you thinking. something that might even stimulate LDs (because i always makes me think of the dream world). so i think you should watch that :)

Full Metal Alchemist was quite amusing to me. If you're a fan of comic relief than you'll probably love it :D
